Negombo Sri Lanka
With Colombo’s international airport only 10km away, holidays to Negombo appeal to holiday makers who want to be able to get off the plane and into one of the beach hotels the area has to offer as soon as possible. Whilst Negombo offers a decent variety of hotels and a reasonable beach, it is sometimes viewed as a little less up market than the pristine beach offering of the more high end resorts down south. Negombo does however provide a good introduction to Sri Lankan culture and life.
