If you’re dedicated enough to make it to Banlung, reward yourself with at least three nights in this culturally diverse, rural, forested region of Cambodia. Unlike the rest of Cambodia which focuses primarily on growing rice, Banlung is located in Eastern Cambodia which is forested and focuses on plantations such as rubber, cashews and oil palms. Though Banlung may feel like the edge of civilisation, it’s growing and modernising quickly.
