A dining destination awaits gourmands with 12 award-winning restaurants and bars including the world's first undersea restaurant and the Maldives' first celebrity Chinese restaurant. Conrad Maldives was named the Indian Ocean's Leading Culinary Resort 2015 by the World Travel Awards and is a multi-award winner at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016.
The only buffet restaurant at our resort, here diners indulge in food from eight kitchens which provide a culinary tour of the world under one roof together with an exciting wine concept that matches old world against new world wines. The floor is soft sand and outdoor tables are under a garden of scented frangipani trees making this a barefoot dining experience. The eight kitchens are: Asian, Italian, Japanese, Indian, the Grill, the Deli, the bakery and desserts. Open for breakfast and dinner.
Set five metres below the surface with 180-degrees of panoramic views of the vibrant coral gardens surrounding it, Ithaa (meaning 'mother of pearl' in the Maldivian language of Dihevi) serves contemporary European cuisine in a six-course set dinner menu matched by a wine concept dedicated to Champagne. Expect indulgences such as caviar for dinner while the four-course lunch menu offers lighter fare. Also open for mid-morning cocktails and can be booked privately for breakfast, weddings or other special occasions.
Dine al fresco and enjoy a nine-course menu of Japanese delights in the Koko Grill Restaurant, undoubtedly one of the most romantic dining venues on Rangali Island.
The open-air Koko Grill offers one of the most show-stopping dining experiences available at Conrad Maldives. Set on the beach, with views of the ocean and stars above, Koko Grill offers Japanese-inspired live cooking around the grill and space for no more than 12 diners seated at ground-level, for the ultimate, exclusive dining experience.
This spectacular open-air over-water restaurant is possibly the best kept dining secret on the island. Set on stilts in the lagoon, it serves exquisite organic and bio-dynamic gourmet cuisine and organic wines in accordance with the Spa Retreat's five elements philosophy.
Here, food lovers enjoy contemporary European presentation with Asian influences. Diners should look out for sting rays and baby sharks which sometimes swim past underneath the restaurant.

Set on stilts 50 metres out to sea above patches of coral reef, this open-air à la carte restaurant specialises in freshly grilled seafood and meat matched with an eclectic wine menu that showcases our sommelier's selections of old and new world wines. Diners should keep an eye out for sting rays and manta rays that sometimes pass by underneath. Open for dinner.
Located two meters underground, the Wine Cellar is the setting for dégustation dinners hosted by our chef and sommelier, who skillfully match a five-course gourmet menu with up to eight hand-picked wines. 12 guests sit around the table next to the sommelier and participate in an interactive journey around the best of the old and new world wine regions, presented on personal video screens. The menu is different each time, allowing chef to showcase the best ingredients of the season. Please note that reservations are essential and that we cannot accept bookings for children aged under 18.
Dedicated to the art of food and wine pairing, Vilu is our fine-dining, open-air restaurant, located on the edge of the lagoon and showcasing our extensive wine selection. Here you'll discover modern à la carte Mediterranean fine-dining with a wine recommendation for each dish. A definite must-do for romantics.
Set by the edge of the main pool and overlooking the lagoon, the sand-floored Rangali Bar is the resort’s social heart, providing extensive lunch and dinner menus alongside contemporary cocktails and regular live music and events. This is the place to sip cocktails, order a snack, chill out on a daybed for two and enjoy the stunning lagoon views. Open daily for lunch, dinner and casual dining from 10am until late.
Just steps from our pool on Rangali Island, The Quiet Zone is an open-air tented lounge on the beach, for adults only, with a fully stocked bar and tempting lunch and dinner menu. Comfy romantic daybeds set on the beach, chilled out music and the dazzling water creates the backdrop to The Quiet Zone, making this an excellent place to dine or simply enjoy a refreshing drink. Open from morning until late evening.
Home to 101 of the world's best cheeses selected by the resort's Maître de Fromage, this intimate bar plays host to informal wine and cheese tastings as well as regular fondue and tapas evenings. Admire the black volcanic sand imported from New Zealand on the floor, which gives a stylish counterpoint to the white sand floors throughout the rest of the resort. No reservations are required (except for fondue and tapas events) and guests are welcomed, whether for a cheese platter for dinner or simply a glass of wine, before or after dinner.
For the ultimate romantic dining experience, book this private dinner for two on the beach under the stars. Your own personal chef will prepare gourmet temptations served by your own waiter in the most romantic of settings. Choose from 'shipwreck' style dining, where you are seated on comfy carpets on the sand to a more traditional candlelight dinner with a table setting, as stars play above you and the breeze whispers through the palm trees.

Sensational indoor and outdoor activities at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island include a casino, open-air cinema, diving, water sports and various excursions including dolphin spotting and whale shark trips.
Enjoy a whole range of water sports activities at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island’s fully equipped Watersports Center like catamaran sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, jet skiing, paddle boating, and kayaking, wakeboarding, knee boarding and water cycling.
The Conrad Maldives Rangai Island resort has its own Dive Centre, managed by Sub-Aqua with multilingual instructors and offers PADI and SSI courses. Certified instructors can take children over the age of five on diving trips and daily trips for divers are run to a multitude of sites. A favorite dive site of the Maldives is Manta Point, only a 10 minute boat ride away, where guests can go diving and snorkeling to see mantas in the manta season (Dec – March). There are many other beautiful dive sites to choose from which showcase the diversity of the amazing aquatic life to be seen in the South Ari Atoll. Don't miss the whale shark snorkeling excursions, organized every Wednesday, for both divers and non-divers. Please note the day of excursion may be subject to change.

“Majaa” at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort offers younger guests and their parents a unique entertainment experience during their stay.
All 3-12 year olds are kept busy from 08:30 until 19:00 with an outstanding themed daily program specifically tailored to different age groups.
A wide range of indoor and outdoor activities are hosted by the highly-trained youth team members, including several programs which allow families to spend quality time together in paradise. From tossing water balloons during our Beach Bash to dancing at the Glow in the Dark Party our younger guests will enjoy themselves within a fun, stimulating and safe environment.
The unique Kids' Spa Program, aimed at 4-12 year olds, is designed to give an insight into the secrets of spa therapy and help those busy children unwind.

The Spa Retreat on Rangalifinohlu Island is set on stilts over the ocean, and boats a holistic spa experience that combines therapies, cuisine and holistic and lifestyle classes. Guests can choose from weekly wellness programs which combine daily treatments, fitness and wellness activities in conjunction with nutrition and naturopathic consultations. The Spa Retreat hosts regular retreats with visiting specialists and instructors from around the world from neuromuscular massage therapy to yoga and detoxification.
The gymnasium offers the latest cardio equipment and the personal assistance of internationally qualified instructors. Next door is the fitness studio where yoga and a variety of classes are available.
