Quality and choice is what the Serenity Plus Fully All Inclusive concept at Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa is all about. All of the superb restaurants are included in the package including four restaurants which offer á la carte or fine dining. There's champagne by the glass from 6pm, an impressive wine list including over 40 carefully selected wines, soft drinks and imported spirits. There's poolside and beachside service and importantly, for you, no need to sign for any of this - it's all included!
Classic Serenity offers everything that Serenity Plus offers except for the free massage and there is a supplement of £15 per person to dine at Teak Elephant and Le Boucanier.
Occasionally the hotel may use one of its restaurants for a group booking and post-Easter to September the hotel may close two of its restaurants.
Le Grand Port is the hotel's main restaurant offering mouthwatering Creole and Oriental influenced buffet-style cuisine from a number of 'live' cooking stations. The restaurant has wooden decking which extends down towards the beach, around the pool plus also offers lovely views over the pool itself and lagoon.
The Porto Vecchio has a fantastic, lively atmosphere and serves delicious Mediterranean á la carte cuisine at its location right in the heart of the hotel's entertainment area.
For something special, Le Boucanier isserves a weekly fine dining menu focusing on seafood specialties in an intimate garden setting - fish cooked and served in a bamboo parcel shouldn't be missed. Available for guests over 12 years old and open between 1900 and 2200.
This restaurant has a stunning location looking out across the hotel's second pool and serves a light tropical á la carte cuisine all day.
Enjoy a unique dining experience at Shandrani's Thai restaurant. You can enjoy a fine dining taster menu that changes weekly and is filled with various flavours and spices! Teak Elephant is available for guests over 12 years old and is open between 1900 and 2200.
One word comes to mind when entering the Blue Bay Bar: warmth. The resort’s fully-inclusive concept makes the bar a popular place to relax, socialize with friends and mingle with other guests at the resort. Of course, it is also an ideal spot to enjoy the live entertainment at night.
Equipped with its own private dance floor, the Sirius Bar occupies a lovely setting at the tip of the peninsula. It is a great place to relax and have a drink or two and enjoy the many complimentary treats served from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Unlike other holiday destinations and hotels, at all of the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius many of the land and water sports are free for guests - including water-skiing.
Over and above all of the standard land and water sports, Shandrani also offers a Sailing School, a Kitesurfing School and the Beachcomber Sports & Nature Programme.
Located at the heart of the hotel gardens, not far from the tennis courts, guests will also enjoy the modern sports facilities and activities* on offer at the sports centre. Professional instructors and supervisors are on site to guide guests and are also available for individual or group classes for the activity of your choice. Sport-lovers can choose from aerobics, steps and cardio training, just to mention a few, to ensure they keep fit throughout their holiday. A relaxing trip to the sauna, located within the centre, is a great way to finish any workout.
To make the most of the natural surroundings, Beachcomber has created an exclusive eco-tourism programme called Beachcomber Sports & Nature (BSN). Kayaking, canyoning, boat excursions and bicycle rides are some just of the ways guests can discover the island. A range of outdoor activities* is available to guests of all ages. Tennis lovers will be delighted to play a match on one of the six floodlit courts and amateur golfers will enjoy a round on the 9-hole "Pitch & Putt" golf course located within the resort.
For guests looking to simply enjoy the beauty of one of the finest lagoons of the island pedal boats, kayaks and hobie cats are available for a relaxing tour. During a glass bottom boat trip or a snorkelling outing, guests will get a closer look at the colourful underwater world. Enthusiasts and beginners will find what they are looking for to make the most of the inviting waters. A diving centre, affiliated to PADI, offers initiation and classes to beginners and regulars. All activities offered at the boathouse, sailing club and diving centre are supervised by experienced instructors.
As one would expect from a five-star fully-inclusive resort in Mauritius, Shandrani Resort & Spa is a hotel where luxury and freedom go hand in hand. Shandrani Resort & Spa has its own golf course, built within the resort's tropical gardens. The 9-hole par 29, Pitch & Putt golf course, spreads across 768 metres of the hotel's grounds. The golf course runs adjacent to the beach, offering breathtaking views over the ocean.

Available to kids aged 3 to 12, Shandrani's kids club is housed in a Creole-style pavilion set in the tropical gardens.
The interiors consist of a large room divided into smaller activity corners. Singing, dancing, drawing, painting and making collages are some of the many activities planned for children who enroll at the club.
The Shandrani mini club is run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.
