Decorated with wooden lattice work, complimentary hues and mosaic patterns, the ambience of the rooms are designed to resemble that of the ancient Turkish architecture which is the overriding theme of Cinnamon Bey. Each room has a terrace/balcony with a view of the garden and the sea beyond.

Located on a separate wing with an exclusive swimming pool, the 28 deluxe rooms (530sqft) offer luxurious accommodation with plenty of space for relaxation and indulgence giving guests further comfort and privacy. The en-suite bathroom opens out to the view of the translucent ocean. The designs of the rooms are in line with the overall Turkish architectural resemblance with the use of bright blue hues and trellis work that form mosaic patterns.

The gem trading fair for which Beruwala is renowned for is known as the China Fort. Almost the entire neighbourhood of China Fort has been engaged in gem trade for generations. Much of the world's coloured precious stones are traded through these merchants. It is significant to note that Princess Kate Middleton wears a Ceylon Sapphire studded diamond cluster engagement ring passed down from the late Princess Diana, which was sourced from Sri Lanka. Complimenting her ring the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Authority gifted her a blue sapphire studded hairpin for the royal wedding. Moreover there has been a long tradition of Sri Lankan gems being used for the jewellery of royalty in the world.
