Rooms
Studio Rooms - are our entry level room but are all comfortable and well designed. We have two rooms # 207 & # 309 in the old house - very atmospheric if a little noisy. The others are in the new wings. All have teak wood floors, Thai silk drapes, original artwork and the certain feeling that you are here in the heart of Bangkok. We have three twins and seven king room.

Deluxe Rooms - there are eight of these good size comfortable rooms - approx 40 + M2. Three are twins and the other five are kings. Rooms # 210 and # 310 have connecting doors to the Executive Deluxe rooms # 211 and# 311. Rooms # 205 and # 305 have connecting doors to Studios # 204 and # 304 respectively.

Executive Deluxe Rooms - we also have three Executive Deluxe Rooms. 110 on the ground floor is slightly smaller than the other 2 but it does have a wonderful Jacuzzi bath tub. The balcony is large and the room feels very Thai. Rooms # 211 and # 311 ( both about 60m2+) have a large bedroom as well as a separate sitting room ( can be a bedroom as well as we have a sofa bed here). Again very charming with four poster beds, beautiful bathrooms and nice balconies.

Executive Suites Rooms - we have three Executive Suites in the Hotel. Two are located on the 4th floor with views down to the pool and the canal. Both have living rooms downstairs and bedrooms on a mezzanine above. Room # 410 has an area of about 65M2 and 411 is about 75M2. The third suite is in the old house - # 208 and was previously Grandfathers bedroom. It is a charming space with traditional four poster bed and gives one a real sense of living in bygone Bangkok.

Our Na Aroon restaurant has been getting busier and busier and it seems our "veggie" food is popular. It maybe the heat but many guests like the lightness of our cuisine. With all the variety of Thai spices and the freshness of produce our Thai "veggie" dishes go down very well. For those interested in Thai food a morning or an afternoon spent in a cooking school can be both fun and enlightening. It´s also interesting to visit one of the big food markets - located at Or Tor Gor - near the weekend market ( Chatuchak) it has a wonderful array of the best fruit and vegetables in Bangkok.
The Hotel is conveniently located at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1 and has more than adequate parking. Built around a charming 1940?s style Bangkok Villa by the current Owners Grandparents.
"Na Aroon" Restaurant occupies the ground floor of the old villa and exudes a real old world charm. Teak wood floors, high ceilings, original artwork and the slow turning of the ceiling fan all combine to take you back in time.
Both Thai and Western dishes are featured on our menu but our philosophy is HEALTHY, TASTY, ORGANIC mainly VEGETARIAN FOOD but with some fresh fish and seafood as well. (we do not serve meat.)
The provenance of our produce is important ? good quality oils, vinegars, soy sauces, fresh organic vegetables and fruits where ever possible but always prepared with care and attention. Thai specialties include Mee Grob, Yum Som O, Tom Khoong, Mieung Keiw Tew, Nam Prik Ong to name but a few. Western food includes homemade mushroom soup, homemade lasagna and ravioli.
For desserts we have "bread and butter pudding" and "apple crumble" all home made and served with real custard.
Our food is accompanied with a good selection of wines and drinks as well as really good fresh juices and smoothies.
For us breakfast is the most important meal of the day ? to send our guests out well prepared to tackle a hectic day in Bangkok! Fresh juice, natural yogurt, eggs, sausage (v), bacon (v), mushroom and sautéed potatoes or why not try our eggs Benedict.
Recreation
The "Som Sen" Spa provides an ideal environment for complete relaxation and health. Thai, oil and de-stress massage plus a small exercise room for the fitness enthusiast. Our Swimming Pool offers an opportunity for a little exercise as well as relaxation.
Enjoy a well deserved massage, steam or jacuzzi in our Spa "Som Sen". Located adjacent to the swimming pool "Som Sen" Spa features an open sided Sala for Thai massage - up to 4 persons can be accommodated here at anyone time.
