With vaulted ceilings and covered verandas, each of our 98 spacious pavilions and luxury villas in Chiang Mai features polished teak floors, rich Thai cotton decorations and beautiful Siamese artwork, all under cooling overhead fans. Technology includes a satellite television, DVD player and wireless Internet access.

Pavilions and residences for non-smokers are available on request. We recommend contacting the Resort directly to make the best arrangements.

Restaurants Sala Mae Rim

Savour the unique flavours of vegetarian and Northern Thai specialties at Sala Mae Rim restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, renowned for its sumptuous Thai cuisine. A high teak ceiling complements Northern Thai artefacts and sweeping views of the Mae Rim Valley. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Restaurants Terraces

Located beside the Resort's main swimming pool, Terraces offers a stunning open-air setting with an expansive view of the surrounding rice paddies and the distant Doi Suthep mountain range. Complementing the traditional Lanna-style architecture of the Resort, Terraces features international cuisine inspired by the region's abundant natural produce and showcases dishes from Asia and beyond.

Ratree Bar and Lounge

Named after a variety of jasmine, Ratree Bar and Lounge has a casual Thai-style ambience complete with fine wines, creative cocktails and a delicious selection of Thai and international snacks.


Elephant Bar

This is the perfect place to watch the sun set as you relax on the terrace under large Thai umbrellas with charming elephant stands. This open, pavilion-style lounge at the Resort offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy a creative selection of cocktails, after-dinner drinks and refreshments.

Traditional Khantoke Dinner

The Cooking School at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai has long been renowned for introducing the secrets of Thai cuisine to Resort guests keen to pick up culinary tips to dazzle friends and family back home. And now, the Cooking School is offering guests another way to experience the unique cuisine of northern Thailand with its new khantoke dinners.

Chef's Table

For a novel way to learn even more about one of the world’s favourite cuisines, join the cooking school’s intimate Chef’s Table at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, offered six nights a week. One of our chefs will demonstrate and explain various preparation methods and culinary techniques as you enjoy a sumptuous meal of 10 different Thai dishes to share, family-style, with up to 12 guests.
