Accomodation
Stark modernist angles are offset, Vervoordt-style, by warm earth tones in the rough, irregular shapes of old ceramics and bedside tables made from chunks of weathered wood. Hand-glazed tiles and pigmented polished-concrete floors keep the bare rooms cool in the hot season. Mercifully picture-free walls are given depth and life by being painted in an irregular wash.
All rooms and the suite are spread over a number of houses and villas; all have generous elevated teak beds, in effect a sturdier version of the trestle table, as well as a desk and chair. They each have a terrace with outdoor seating, too, though some are shared with the room next door. Open walk-in wardrobes hold the usual kimono-style bathrobes and a hairdryer. Bathrooms have a big shower cubicle with fixed head and good water pressure. Aromatherapy shampoo, shower gel and soap are provided, as is mosquito repellent. All are uniquely decorated; the deciding factor in different categories is size, bed formation and the type of view.

Knai Bang Chatt has one single room, Room 5 (21sqm) located on the first floor of the iconic Blue Villa. The garden view room, with a twin bed and large, beautifully tiled bathroom, has it’s own private balcony and shared use of a large terrace with beautiful views overlooking the gardens and Gulf of Siam.

– Room 10 (20sqm) located on the first floor of the Brown Villa features two twin poster beds and a writing desk overlooking the tranquil gardens. (Combines well with Room 9 for larger parties or families).
– Room 14 (38sqm) on the ground floor of the New Villa has an outdoor terrace with a partial sea view and can be configured as a twin or double room.

Room 12 (35sqm) on the ground floor of the Red Villa features natural stone walls, a sitting alcove, large bathroom, and a view overlooking the pool.

Room 2 (38sqm) on the first floor of the Grey Villa has an excellent sea view, separate lounge area with comfortable seating and a TV, and shared use of a private terrace with outdoor seating. (Combines well with Room 1 for larger parties or families).
Room 4 (25sqm) on the ground floor and Room 6 (27sqm) on the first floor of the Blue Villa, both have beautiful views of the sea and a private terrace.

Dining
Breakfast is a simple buffet served in the restaurant. Expect muesli, bread, croissants, cold cuts, a basket of hard-boiled eggs, and jam and marmalade. Fruit juice, coffee and a selection of teas are provided. Extra dishes can be ordered a la carte.
Other meals are served whenever you want, anywhere around the complex. The resort is small, so there are only a handful of choices per meal although special dishes can be arranged on request. For lunch and dinner, there is excellent Khmer-French fusion cuisine, with the stress on Khmer: we enjoyed beef-and-noodle salad, pomelo salad with succulent prawns, seafood stir-fry with 2 kinds of rice, and a local fish done a la meuniere. Desserts are generally not among Asia’s great contributions, but if pandanus cake is your thing, tuck in.
Private dining can be arranged on the roof top or at the end of the jetty and features a 3- or 4-course menu with sparkling wine, and incredible views of the sea.
As one of Kep’s only high-end restaurants, The Strand concept is to provide healthy and delicious cuisine from fresh and local products, including the abundant fish, crab, and seafood that is collected daily from the surrounding sea. We also feature imported steaks, tasty lamb chops, succulent chicken, and a variety of fresh and local vegetables. Nestled within the lush and private gardens of the resort, our yoga and meditation programs focus on balancing the mind and body. Using ancient yoga and meditation techniques, participants gain flexibility and physical balance through a practice of deep breathing and stretching exercises, practicing concentration and awareness, and meditation.
This excursion begins with a picturesque drive towards Kampot and a Cham Fishing Village where guests board a local fishing boat for the remainder of the journey. After navigating through small fishing villages with bountiful mangroves on either side, you reach the open waters of the Gulf of Thailand with a view of Bokor Mountain in the distance.
Often overlooked in favor of its neighbors more popular Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, Cambodian food has recently garnered praise from chefs around the world for its use of fresh spices and unique blend of contrasting flavors and textures. Some of the favorite dishes include Fish Amok, Banana Blossom Salad, and Mango Salad.
During our Private Cooking Experiences, guests get a better understanding of the traditional cooking techniques. With a visit to the Crab Market, they learn to identify local ingredients and understand the importance of seasonality in Khmer cooking (many ingredients are only available during certain months of the year).

For each and every wedding, we aim to create an environment that reflects the taste and style of the bride and groom.
Our lush gardens can accommodate up to 120 guests in an open-air seaside ceremony, with both set menu or buffet dining options. The adjoining Sailing Club provides an additional dining and dancing venue for rehearsal dinners, receptions, and day-after brunch.
