The five-star Mövenpick resort Petra features 183 rooms and suites, decorated with textured Middle Eastern fabrics in natural hues that complement the surroundings. In addition to a complimentary minibar and free WiFi, guests also benefit from a flat screen television with satellite channels, air conditioning, heating and 24-hour room service. The tea and coffee making facility in each room is a welcome provision where guests can create a hot beverage while enjoying the views. .
With the exception of Standard Rooms, all the rooms and suites have a private balcony with outdoor furniture to take in the surrounding vistas. Superior Rooms have lovely mountain views, while Junior Suites overlook the pool and feature a sitting area. If required, guests may also request interconnecting rooms, non-smoking rooms and accommodation with wheelchair access.
For exceptional views of Petra, guests can opt to stay in the suites, which also feature iPod and iPhone docks. Four Executive Suites each has a separate bathroom and the two spacious Royal Suites with its imperial purple accents, have separate bath tubs and showers.
