Overlooking the sapphire waters of the Caribbean, Ocean View Rooms are located on or near the beach. With 400 sq. ft. of indoor living space, each room also has an outdoor patio or terrace where guests may enjoy the idyllic setting of Virgin Gorda and the gentle trade winds. Close to Little Dix Bay’s beautiful crescent beach, the Ocean Cottage accommodations are hexagonal in shape and are grouped in pairs on the west end of the resort, or in groups of four on the east end of the resort. Ocean Cottages are available with the option to have connecting rooms for families, or a more secluded location for couples. Each cottage offers 450 sq. ft. of indoor space featuring local materials with furniture made from teak and bamboo, walls made from local stone, and natural color fabrics accented by island colors. Guests enjoy ocean views on the 160-sq.-ft. terrace or patio.

Located beside the beach, these spacious hexagonal-shaped rooms feature over-sized bathrooms plus private outdoor garden showers. Tastefully decorated with natural wood furniture, stonework and a calming color palette, the 520-sq.-ft. cottages are grouped in pairs for optimal privacy. Guests enjoy ocean views from the expansive 280-sq.-ft. terrace.

The newest accommodations at Rosewood Little Dix Bay blend with the island landscape and afford fabulous ocean views throughout. The 670-sq.-ft. suites feature a spacious bathroom with twin vanities, separate shower and large soaking tub. Melding with nature, the charming new Tree House Suites offer a unique sense of seemingly floating among the trees. These suites are the rebirth of the unique stilted Tree House Cottages first built by Laurance Rockefeller. Dining at the Sugar Mill is an authentic experience, with sight, sound, smell and taste all thoughtfully highlighted in the guest's experience.  Set in an open air stone mill on the beach, the Sugar Mill's curving architecture affords guests panoramic views of the bay from every table while local musicians perform  to accompany the views and the aromas of beautifully prepared dishes.

Menu offerings are understated yet complex as the chef seeks to enhance natural flavors with classic regional preparations, and local spices.  Dishes include a refreshing salad of local watermelon and feta cheese, Red Snapper served with the essence of lemongrass, and the sweet Anegada Lobster which are hand picked by guests as they are brought to our dock by local fishermen.  Here, dishes are not over dressed, instead the Sugar Mill honors the produce, meats, and seafood of the region, in classic beachside style. 

Located at the heart of the RESORT beneath four signature vaulted rooftops, the open-air Pavilion restaurant serves innovative international cuisine and offers sweeping postcard views from every table. An elaborate breakfast is served with fresh juices, pastries and made-to-order items. 

An á la carte dinner menu features a mix of dishes that are familiar and comforting, yet distinctly Caribbean in execution. Refreshing salads are made from locally sourced produce, including cucumbers and tomatoes. Entrees include freshly caught Mahi with roasted local pumpkin, Caribbean spiced grilled pork loin, and a local curry of Anegada Lobster.

Adjacent to the Pavilion restaurant, the Wallaby-shingled Pavilion Bar offers a selection of classic cocktails and local favorites including the “Painkiller,” a BVI favorite. Daily afternoon tea is served at the Pavilion Bar, complete with English scones, fruit brochettes and local Johnny cakes. The open air space often plays host to live local bands that play authentic Caribbean music to accompany the evenings at the iconic Pavilion. 

Steps from the beach, adjacent to the RESORT'S private dock, the Beach Grill enjoys beautiful ocean vistas and a relaxed ambience. Open most days from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests choose from a dazzling array of creative cocktails as well as appetizing menu options featuring local ingredients from land and sea in a variety of chilled soups, salads, sandwiches, grilled burgers and pizzas.

Dining plans offer the convenience of consistent inclusive dining at the resort, with the flexibility to venture off-property to sample local restaurants unique to Virgin Gorda.

Open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. the fitness center at Rosewood Little Dix Bay features a variety of cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, Stairmasters and Lifecycle exercise bikes. Machines are equipped with cardio theatre personal viewing flat-screen TVs showing cable programming and movies. Free weights are also available. Chilled drinking water, towels and fresh fruit are provided.

Just steps away from the iconic Pavilion restaurant, the Pavilion Pool offers beach-front swimming nestled among palm trees and ancient volcanic boulders. Poolside service allows guests to partake in a classic rum punch or fresh coconut water served in shell under the warm Caribbean sun. For families there is a safe shallow pool nearby for children to enjoy.

Rosewood Little Dix Bay's luxurious tennis facilities provide a wonderful opportunity for guests to play their favorite sport on their Caribbean vacation. Five artificial grass courts and two hard courts are available, each with a beautiful mountainous view. Two floodlit artificial grass courts allow guests to play after sunset.

The RESORT's award-winning tennis program is designed for players of all skill levels, with an emphasis on fun, fitness and expert instruction. Peter Burwash International (PBI), the world's foremost tennis management company, has been servicing the needs of guests at Rosewood Little Dix Bay since 1979.
